The Gaia Project
Humanity, we are both the best and the worst for and from Mother Nature. There are many threats to us as humanity, real (climate change, insect death) or more speculative (AI), but they seem to be forgotten and neglected. Even though these issues have been highlighted in papers for years, no solutions have been provided, or they have been ignored due to financial and social pushback. For how long can we continue like this, or is it already too late? What if we don't change? That is what this project is about: what if we don't change the way we farm and "poison" nature? We will lose crucial systems necessary for nature and our own survival.

The impact of nitrogen is bigger and more significant than most people are aware of, if they are aware at all. Nitrogen damages the microorganisms in the ground, affecting the growth of many plants crucial for nature, insects, and our food supply. Gaia is like a conceptual/dystopian company that replaces the systems we will lose, but this brings up many questions. Is this the way we want to go? Is it ethical? Who controls it? Can we even afford to play God, and what if we don't intervene and bring about a massive crisis in the world?
